Solution

By using Perpetua to take care of the most time-consuming aspects of campaign management, Rich Insight was able to focus on optimizing its clients' budget allocation and creating growth strategies tailored to each brand’s specific market position.

Rich Insight used Perpetua to leverage Amazon Sponsored Products ads, using a mix of targeted segments to achieve its goals. Category and competitor targeting helped them get their clients to the top of the Amazon search results page and on the product detail pages of relevant competitors. 

This drove customers away from the competition, creating incremental purchases. In addition to appearing in prominent placements, branded targeting drew shoppers into the top of the sales funnel. Category targeting, in turn, capitalized on shopper interest, helping Rich Insight to capture market share for its clients.

Results

Rich Insight - Marketplace expansion

Rich Insight increased sales, category share, and efficiency in ad spend for each client using Perpetua’s Ad Engine to run Amazon Sponsored Products campaigns.

The organic sales and total sales of one of its contemporary home decor and accessories brands grew by 19x and 55x respectively, while ACOS dropped by 90%. The brand’s conversion rate more than doubled, accompanied by an incredible 1300x surge in attributed sales. 

Dominating branded search terms with Sponsored Products allowed Rich Insight to more than double a luxury jeweler’s organic sales and reduce its reliance on advertising, as total ad sales decreased by 9%. Shifting ad spend from category to branded search terms on the back of a stronger brand presence supported this reduction, which in turn increased the efficiency of the brand’s ad spend.

Lastly, adding Keyword Boost to category keyword targeting for a high-end automobile maintenance solutions brand allowed Rich Insight to increase the brand’s subcategory share. Total sales increased by 9x, with organic and attributed sales rising by 11x and 8x respectively, while the share of sales attributed to ads decreased by 12%, improving efficiency in ad spend.
