Drive sales this Amazon Prime Day with Yahoo Editorials

Michelle Meleskie, June 15, 2022

We are extremely excited to announce that in addition to offering on-Amazon editorial content, the Perpetua Content Network is now offering editorials on Yahoo.com. Editorials on Yahoo not only appear on the Yahoo homepage but can also be displayed in Top Stories on Google.

While we have seen incredible success with Amazon editorials whether there is a promotion on the featured ASINs or not, Yahoo editorials perform best when there is a deal being featured. Our findings have seen $500-$5,000 gross merchandise value (GMV) generated by these editorials that have included deals. With only a 14 day turnaround, the launching of a Yahoo editorial can be easily timed to feature products when they are running promotions in order to maximize results.

Leverage Yahoo Editorials for Amazon Prime Day

With Amazon Prime Day just around the corner and its environment competitive for advertisers as ever, it is extremely important for them to get their products in front of as many customers as possible -- and Editorials on Yahoo are one more way to do this. Although we see a more significant increase in traffic directly on Amazon on Prime Day, there are increases of shopping interest across various marketplaces, indicated by the increased search volume directly on Google. Editorials featuring products sold on Amazon appearing prominently on Yahoo or Google will increase the likelihood that customers who begin their shopping journey away from Amazon will nevertheless be exposed to them.

Interest over Time is defined by Google Trends asNumbers represent search interest relative to the highest point on the chart for the given region and time. A value of 100 is the peak popularity for the term. A value of 50 means that the term is half as popular. A score of 0 means there was not enough data for this term.”
