The challenge: breaking through in a crowded market
In the Personal Care and Beauty category, strong products don’t always translate into immediate advertising success. Competition is intense, category leaders dominate visibility, and brands often need more than basic campaign management to scale efficiently.
That was the challenge facing Simpletics, a beauty brand, when XTreme ROI took over management of the account in November 2024. Simpletics’ sea salt hair spray product had clear potential, but unlocking consistent growth required a more deliberate strategy that could improve brand visibility, capture category demand, and convert shoppers efficiently in a highly competitive environment.
Rather than relying on isolated optimizations, XTreme ROI used Perpetua’s platform and goal-based technology to create a more structured advertising approach designed for long-term scale.
The strategy: building a structured path to scale
Using Perpetua’s goals-based model, XTreme ROI developed a strategy focused on capturing demand from both category and competitor segments. Within a crowded beauty landscape, this approach helped Simpletics build stronger visibility where it mattered most: alongside competing products and within high-value category searches.

As the strategy matured, XTreme ROI layered in more advanced audience tactics. During the second half of 2025, they leveraged Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) audiences through Perpetua to reach new-to-brand shoppers and high-interest audiences. This added a stronger upper- and mid-funnel component to the strategy, helping the brand connect with shoppers who were more likely to convert while maintaining efficiency.
The result was a full-funnel advertising approach powered by Perpetua’s technology: stronger targeting, broader visibility, and smarter audience expansion.
The results: stronger visibility, efficient growth, and new customer acquisition
Over the course of 2025, Simpletics saw strong quarter-over-quarter growth as XTreme ROI used Perpetua to scale performance. From June to December 2025:
Total sales increased by 43%
Attributed sales increased by 65%
Impressions increased by 146%
Much of that visibility growth was amplified during major Q4 peak events, when competition intensifies and efficient scale becomes even more important.
At the same time, Simpletics’ AMC audience strategy delivered strong efficiency, generating results at a 28% ACOS while helping the brand reach new-to-brand and high-interest shoppers.
This combination of scale and efficiency is what made the strategy stand out. Growth came from using Perpetua’s tools to build a smarter structure for capturing demand, expanding presence, and reaching the right audiences at the right time.
