Amazon is getting aggressive this holiday season, are you?

The holiday season is officially here.
With Thanksgiving falling so late in November, the 2019 shopping season is 6 days shorter than usual. As a result, Amazon has made some aggressive moves to win sales from its brick-and-mortar competitors.
Here's why we think the eCommerce giant will see higher than usual traffic this year:
Amazon is pricing 20% below other online retailers on average in key product categories (Profitero)
Of the holiday gifts shoppers will buy online in 2019, 42% expect to purchase all or most of them from Amazon (Episerver)
More than 10 Million items on Amazon are now eligible for 1-day shipping (The Motley Fool)
Introducing: Perpetua's Pre-Holiday Opt-In Program The five days between Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday, dubbed the "Cyber 5", are quickly approaching. As you know, these days are critical to building momentum throughout the holiday season.
If you're advertising with Perpetua, taking advantage of this increased traffic is easy. By opting in to Perpetua's Pre-Holiday program, your budgets will automatically be increased, balanced and allocated throughout the five-day event to ensure your campaigns don't go dark.
🔔 Action Required: Send us an e-mail if you'd like to participate.
Here's how it works:
⬆️ 50% budget increase (Ramp up starting Nov 26) 💸 100% budget increase Thanksgiving - Cyber Monday (Nov 28 - Dec 2) ⬇️ 50% budget decrease (Ramp down starting Dec 3) ⬇️ 25% budget decrease (Ramp down starting Dec 4) 🗓️ Budgets back to original values by Dec 10
Some things to remember:
Perpetua's pre-holiday program will not increase your ACOS targets on your goals. This is something we encourage you to consider. A few months ago we launched the same program for Prime Day, and those who opted-in saw a 200% sales increase as a result.
